Shin Tae-yong Proud Of The Indonesian National Team To Be Able To Break A Bad Record For 20 Years

The Indonesian national team rolled Vietnam 3-0 in Hanoi (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, is proud of the hard work of his team which successfully recorded a 3-0 victory over Vietnam at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi, Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

This result also automatically broke the bad record of the Indonesian national team, which for 20 years had never won at home to The Golden Star.

The meeting of the Indonesia vs Vietnam national team is the fourth match of the second round of Group F of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone.

The three goals that led to the victory of the Garuda Squad were Jay Idzes (9'), Ragnar Oratmangoen (23'), and Ramadhan Sananta (90+8).

In addition to boosting points in Group F, this victory is also Shin Tae-yong's moment to keep his promise.

Shin Tae-yong said that this victory could not be separated from the slick capital of the team brought from Jakarta. Previously, when appearing at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, March 21, 2024, the Garuda Squad also won 1-0.
