AC Milan Threatened To Lose Maignan, Needs To Prepare Replacement

JAKARTA - AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan's contract is coming to an end. Currently, the negotiation process between players and clubs is still ongoing.

However, the capital club is already preparing to find a replacement if a meeting point on the French goalkeeper's contract is not reached. Quoted from Football Italia, Sunday, high salary requests reached up to 8 million euros or approximately Rp. 137 billion from Maignan, making AC Milan consider looking for a new goalkeeper. If Maignan was reluctant to lower his salary requests, it is believed AC Milan would not object to selling the former Lille player, moreover now he has only two years of contracting at the San Siro. It is estimated that AC Milan will have no difficulty selling Maignan because two major European clubs Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in landing the French Guiana-born player.
