JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team is scheduled to undergo an away match to Vietnam headquarters at the My Dinh Stadium for the continued match of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian zone. The three players are Marc Klok, Nadeo Argawinata, and Sandy Walsh. The three of them were not brought by coach Shin Tae-yong to Vietnam for a number of reasons.

Klok and Nadeo are known to have been forced to miss due to injury. Meanwhile, Sandy was sanctioned with card accumulation.

Currently, the Indonesian national team has arrived in Vietnam and has undergone training on Saturday, March 23. In the inaugural training session, the Indonesian national team only conducted light exercises.

So far, the coach is still monitoring the condition of the players further before determining the names of the players who will be the mainstay of the Garuda Squad in the crucial match against Vietnam.

Arriving in Vietnam, Shin also admitted that the condition of Indonesian national team players was not very good. The reason is that there are several players who had coughs and fever while on air travel.

"The condition of the players is not very good. There are some players whose conditions are quite severe, I don't know what the virus is. It's also crowded in Indonesia," said Shin Tae-yong.
