PSSI Sudah Bagongi Nama Direktur Teknik Anyar

PSSI chairman Erick Thohir has planned to appoint the PSSI Directorate of Technology (VOI/Ulfa Gusti).

JAKARTA - PSSI has pocketed the name of the new Technical Director (Dirtek) for the Indonesian national team. This news was shared directly by the General Chairperson (Ketum) of PSSI, Erick Thohir. However, his clear figure will only be announced before June 2024.

The new technical director will fill the vacant position previously occupied by Indra Sjafri. However, Indra Sjafri has now been appointed to handle the U-20 Indonesian national team.

"Yes, this is already in the name (PSSI Director). Just now," said Erick Thohir when met in the Central Jakarta area on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

"We'll see later, be patient. This is just the Japanese coach coming. Maybe before June 2024 we will have a decision," he said.

Previously, Erick Thohir had revealed that the federation intends to find a Dirtek figure from Germany. This was following the figure of Frank Rightureth who had previously been predicted to fill that position.

Frank▁Samasuth was once a consultant coach team accompanying the Bima Sakti coach while handling the U-17 Indonesian national team at the 2023 U-17 World Cup. However, the position of Director of Research and Technology was not given toputrasuth after PSSI decided not to extend cooperation with the man from Germany.

Currently PSSI does need a Dirtek figure. This is to help determine the planning until the creation of Indonesia's football program in the future.
