Three League 2 Teams Seal Promotion To League 1 Next Season

JAKARTA - Three League 2 teams for the 2023/2024 season have confirmed promotion tickets to League 1 next season. The final and third-placed matches will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

PSBS Biak came out as the champion of Liga 2 2023/2024 after overthrowing Semen Padang 3-0 in the second leg of the final which was held at the Haji Agus Salim Stadium on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

PSBS Biak's winning goal was contributed by Alberto 'Beto' Goncalves in the 12th and 50th minutes. Alexandro Dos Santos completed the party with a goal contribution in the 28th minute.

The 3-0 victory made PSBS Biak win 6-0 on Semen Padang.

Previously, in the first leg held at the Cendrawasih Stadium, March 5, 2024, PSBS Biak also silenced Semen Padang 3-0 through an own goal of Hadi Ardiansyah (27'), Alexandro Dos Santos (45'), and Beto (79').
