PB PASI Calls 11 Athletes For The 2024 Paris Olympics Pelatnas

JAKARTA The Executive Board of the Indonesian Athletics Association (PB PASI) has summoned as many as 11 athletes to undergo national training (Pelatnas) for the 2024 Paris Olympics preparation.

PASI said in an official statement that the National Training Center for the 2024 Paris Olympics was underway at the Jakarta Madya Stadium, Padjadjaran Stadium Bandung, and Pangalengan Stadium since January 2024.

"The national training this time was attended by 11 athletes, accompanied by 1 manager, 6 coaches, and 9 support staff," wrote PB PASI's official statement.

The names of athletes who were called to participate in the National Training Center were Lalu Muhammad Zohri (run 100 m men), Odekta Naibaho (maraton), Agus Prayogo (maraton), Pandu Sukarya (run through the men's 3,000 m hurdles), Hendro (fast running 20 km men), Violine Intan (fast journey 20 km women), Robi Syianturi (run 5,000 m men), Rikki Marthin (marton), Mutiara Oktarani (ri 800 m run), Halida Ulfah (fast walk 20 km women), and Diki Chandra (lariang rantan rantang 3.000 m men).

In addition to preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics, this summons also aims to hone the athlete's ability to face the 2025 Thailand SEA Games.

The government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) has disbursed funds of Rp. 81.3 billion for the qualification of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Of this amount, PASI received Rp. 3.1 billion.
