Two TV Channels Confirming The Duel Of Joshua Vs Ngannou

JAKARTA - Fans of boxing are happy. Two television channels confirmed the broadcast of one of the biggest duels this year between Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou on March 8, 2024, in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua and Ngannou's fight will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and DAZN with a pay-per-view (PPV) system. However, the exact price cannot be confirmed.

Joshua had been a star in Sky Sports for a long time until he finally joined promoter Eddie Hearn on DAZN's streaming.

Saudi Arabian boxing boss, Turkey Alalshikh, has also prepared large funds so that promoters and their networks can work together.

Previously, when Joshua defeated Otto Wallin in December 2023, the duel was presented at DAZN and TNT Sport PPV.

Meanwhile, Joshua vs Ngannou's fight occurred because both boxers failed to get the desired opponent.

Joshua has signed a deal to face Deontay Wilder in March 2024, but the American suffered a shock defeat to Joseph Parker.

Then, Ngannou was refused to do a rematch against Tyson Fury. So, he had to find another opponent. As a result, the situation paved the way for the duel between the two.

Seeing the fight getting closer, Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, admitted that he was nervous.

"You have to be disciplined. You have to be brave as usual. When the time comes, you have to take it into account and you have to beat it," Hearn said at GiveMeSport.

"As I said, he (Joshua) is an amazing guy. I think this is going to be a great fight."

"I'm nervous, very nervous, but I'm sure AJ (Anthony Joshua) will do his job. I think if AJ is disciplined, he wins the fight with him," Hearn said again.

Apart from Joshua and Ngannou's fight which was broadcast on two television channels, it turned out that there was another duel that made history in the broadcast.

Tyson Fury's fight against Oleksandr Usyk, which was shifted to May 2024, received greater attention than Joshua vs Ngannou.

It is recorded that three television channels will broadcast the unification duel which has the title of the biggest fight of the century, namely DAZN, TNT Sport, and Sky Sports.
