Ruzana Champions In Sri Lanka International Series 2024

The women's singles badminton player Ruzana came out as the champion in Sri Lanka International 2024 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Indonesian women's singles badminton player, Ruzana, came out as the champion in the Sri Lanka International Series 2024.

Ruzana won the title after defeating Malaysia's representative, Siti Zulaikha, two straight games 21-19 and 21-15 in the final match at the Indoor Stadium Galle, Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Ruzana said that this is the first title in two years.

"I'm certainly happy because this is my first title since two years ago," he said in an official statement received from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI).

Ruzana admitted that her opponent played nicely and was difficult to beat. However, he can control the game and be more daring to play attacking.

"The opponent played quite well, but I managed to control the game. In the final points I was also more daring to attack and pressure him," he said.

Furthermore, he hopes that the title earned in Sri Lanka can motivate him to add titles in the next tournaments.

"I want to be better than before. This title is certainly an additional motivation, but I don't want to burden myself too much. Most importantly, I have to go all out in every tournament I participate in," he said.
