Elkan Baggot Officially Joins New Club After Defending The Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA - Elkan Baggot got a new club after completing his duties to defend the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup. The defender is anchored to the club that finished in Europe.

Elkan is officially in the Bristol Rovers uniform. The presence of the 21-year-old as the new PLAYer of Bristol Rovers was announced directly by the team through their official website. Bristol said Elkan would play with a duration until the end of the 2023/2024 season.

"The club is pleased to announce Elkan Baggott has joined the loan status of Ipswich Town until the end of the season," wrote Bristol Rovers quoted from its official website on Friday, February 2, 2024.

As is known, Elkan Baggot appeared to defend the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup until the last 16. The Garuda squad could not continue to move to the quarter-finals because it was beaten by Australia 0-4.

After the Red-White troops stopped in the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup, all the players returned to their respective clubs.

However, Elkan's return to Ipswich Town was increasingly marginalized. He was not attracted to play time.
