Jokowi Praises The Indonesian National Team For Defeating Vietnam: The Play Is Very Good

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi praised the Indonesian national team (Timnas) game which won over Vietnam with a score of 1-0 in the 2023 Asian Cup.

Jokowi watched the very interesting football match until midnight.

"Indonesia Vietnam is 1-0, until 12 o'clock I don't watch it," Jokowi told reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Saturday, January 20.

In fact, Jokowi said the game shown by Shin Tae-yong's team was very good and not disappointing.

"The players are very good, the players are very good. The Mai is very good," said Jokowi.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian national team managed to maintain hope for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup after winning 1-0 over Vietnam in the second match of Group D.
