AS Roma Vs Atalanta: Penalti Dybala Saves I Giallorossi From Defeat

JAKARTA - AS Roma escaped defeat when they hosted Atalanta in the Italian Serie A match. Appearing at home at the Stadio Olimpico, Monday, January 8 in the morning WIB, Roma drew 1-1. Penalti Paulo Dybala saved I Giallorossi from defeat.

Roma hopes to gain full points after losing consistency. The performance of the unstable team made it difficult for Roma to meet coach Jose Mourinho's target of breaking into the Champions League zone.

In the previous five matches, Roma only won twice against Napoli 2-0 and then beat Cremonese 2-1.

They drew once against Fiorentina (1-1) and lost twice against Bologna and Juventus.

With a bad capital, Roma served Atalanta which was a little more consistent. Roma came close to falling if Dybala didn't save him who scored from the penalty spot

The additional one point made Roma eighth with 29 points adrift of one point with Atalanta perched in seventh place.

The host's attempt to catch up finally paid off after receiving a penalty in the 39th minute. Penalty was awarded following Matteo Ruger's foul on Roma defender Rick Karsdorp.
