Kylian Mbappe Canplan Again About Moving To Real Madrid

JAKARTA - Kylian Mbappe revealed that he has not yet decided whether to sign a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) or leave at the end of the season.

Mbappe was able to negotiate with other clubs in the January stock exchange for a potential step forward. In terms of regulations, players who have a six-month contract can strike an agreement with other clubs.

Real Madrid is currently a serious front team to bring in Mbappe. This week, Los Blancos plans to negotiate intense negotiations regarding the realization of the move for the French player.

In fact, Madrid is targeting an agreement to be reached with Mbappe in the winter market which opens on January 1, 2024.

However, it seems that there is a chance for Mbappe to defect again. After bringing PSG to win the French Super Cup or Trophee des Champions 2023, the 25-year-old confirmed that he had not made his decision.

He even showed his enthusiasm to play for PSG after scoring one goal in a 2-0 win over Toulouse on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

"No (about the move decision). I am very motivated this year. It is very important. We have a title and we have won one trophy (this year)."

"I haven't made a decision yet. I haven't made a choice. With the agreement I have with the President (PSG) in the summer, my decision is not important because we managed to protect all parties and preserve the peace of the club."

"For the upcoming challenges, the most important thing is that it (the decision) is secondary," Mbappe said at ESPN.

As is known, part of the agreement reached last summer or the start of the 2023 competition season, the club initially "threatened" Mbappe having to sign a new deal or be released for free.

In addition, the agreement states PSG must also pay a loyalty bonus of 100 million euros if Mbappe leaves in the summer of 2023.

However, Mbappe then agreed to an extension and rule out the bonus. He argued that he wanted to protect the club that had raised its name in order to avoid paying the bonus of loyalty.

The previous year or the summer of 2022, 25-year-old players almost anchored to Madrid. In fact, Los Blancos and Mbappe have reached an agreement. However, Mbappe turned back to PSG again for unclear reasons.

Now, when his contract is remaining until June 2024 and his future at PSG is unclear, Madrid is back in touch.

Real Madrid has moved quickly to get Mbappe's signature on a free transfer. However, judging by previous stories, the French national team player has the possibility of turning around and staying at PSG.

"I don't know (about the possibility of moving to Madrid later this season). It (negotiated with Madrid earlier) at the end of May in 2022 because I didn't know until May (2024)".

"If I knew what I wanted to do, why wait? It doesn't make sense, but as I said, the most important thing is the title."

"We have won one (French Super Cup title) and we are determined to win more. My personal situation, in which the club, no one talks about it, is not much interesting," said Mbappe.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has not made Mbappe a priority. If the negotiations on the January stock exchange fail, they will close the door to the Santiago Bernabeu meeting for the attacker.

No wonder Madrid plan to first ask Mbappe's interest in the Spanish giant before handing over a contract. If there is no firm statement that he is interested, Los Blancos will immediately resign.
