Drama Six Goals, Brighton Thwarts Tottenham Hotspur Mission Overtaking Man City

JAKARTA - The Totteham Hotspur mission returned to the top four and shifted Manchester City to a total failure in a six-goal drama. Brighton and Hove Albion won 4-2 in a duel in the English Premier League at The American Express Community Stadium, Friday, December morning WIB.

Tottenham's late goal could only reduce the score. Despite chasing a goal deficit after conceding four times, Tottenham finally had to admit Brighton's superiority.

Tottenham could actually end the game with a different result if Richarlison's two goals were not disallowed. However, this North London club is indeed lacking so it failed to pick up important points in away matches.

In that match, the hosts were superior to Tottenham. That's how the competition in the Premier League is. The elite teams could fall with a big score. More than that, Brighton often makes it difficult for big teams.

On the other hand, The Seagulls also lose points more often when they meet opponents with a midfielder quality. This is what keeps Brighton stuck in the middle board.

After trailing 4-0, Tottenham could only reduce the lag in the last 10 minutes. The first goal of The Lilywhites was produced by captain Son Heung-min in the 81st minute.

Furthermore, a header from close range Ben Davies added Tottenham's goal in the 86th minute. However, Tottenham could not add more goals. Brighton's 4-2 score lasted until the end of the match.
