Men's doubles badminton player Yeremia Rambitan will be paired with Rahmat Hidayat (Instagram/@yeremia_rambitan).

JAKARTA Yeremia Rambitan will partner with Rahmat Hidayat at Thailand Masters 2024 which will take place from January 30 to February 4, 2024.

This information was confirmed by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) through a statement on Instagram social media, Thursday, December 28, 2023, pertang WIB.

"Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan will partner with Rahmat Hidayat at Thailand Masters 2024 (January 30 to February 4, 2024)," wrote PBSI.

The men's singles head coach, Aryono Miranat, assessed that the two players could complement each other. In addition, in terms of age, the two are not far apart.

"In terms of game, they can fill in with each other. Yeremia can be a defender and can play in front of the net. Rahmat as a forward can arrange more attacks in front of the net," he said.

Yeremia was left by his previous partner, Pramudya Kusumawardana, in the middle of this month. Pram decided to leave the PBSI National Training Center to continue his studies.

Meanwhile, Rahmat Hidayat had previously been duet with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo. Both made their debuts at the Korea Masters.

Kevin may be able to return to the duet with his old partner Marcus Fernaldi Gideon or Rayhan Nur Fadillah.

"For Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, and Rayhan Nur Fadillah, I have prepared a plan for them, but I still have to discuss, especially with Marcus and Kevin," said Aryono.
