Harry Kane Ledek His Premier League Partner Who Competes On Christmas Holidays

JAKARTA - Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane turns out to like to joke. He teased his colleagues at Tottenham Hotspur and at other English Premier League clubs who had to play games on a busy schedule at holiday festivals.

There is no holiday for the Premier League. Competition in England is indeed different from Europe's top leagues. If other leagues always end competitions during Christmas and New Year, on the other hand the Premier League and the divisions below will continue to play.

In fact, this has become a tradition or holiday festival when clubs actually play matches with a busy schedule. Moreover, Boxing Day matches or the day after Christmas will be hot and tight.

The Boxing Day tradition is to exchange Christmas gifts and matches after Christmas is actually very interesting. Because fans hope to get a victory gift in Boxing Day matches.

As his Premier League and subordinates under him competed, Kane, who for the first time played outside England, was able to enjoy a vacation. In the last match of the German Bundesliga before the break, he led Bayern to a 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.

"I can't wait. Frankly, it's really not easy to be here [Germany] without a family for months. There are no children and wives," Kane said.

When Kane moved to Munich after joining Die Roten, his wife and children still lived in London. Before getting a new house, he lived in the hotel.

"This is indeed a matter of spending time with them. What is especially the quality of time. After the holidays, they all move to Germany. This is certainly a fun thing," he said.

Kane was Tottenham's top score after collecting 280 goals for 435 games in his career at the North London club before being bought by Bayern for 86.4 million at the start of the season.

The 30-year-old striker scored 10 goals during seven Boxing Day matches. Meanwhile, in the holiday festival match over the period 26 December 2023 to 4 January 2024, Kane scored 22 goals.

But now he can forget the holiday tradition because he enjoys a vacation with his family. Kane chose to vacation in a place that filled the sun.

Interestingly, he also teased his friends who were still competing. Kane will lure them with photos of him enjoying the holidays.

"We will go to places with sunlight. We have 10 days and really want to enjoy it," Kane said.
