This time, Reece's injury was severe so she had to undergo surgery. In fact, this 24-year-old defender has flown to Finland for surgery.

After the operation, it took him three or four months to recover. This brings his chances of strengthening England at Euro 2024 to be closed.

The reason is, Reece still has to recover before it is really fit to return to play.

Reece, in a football career, is often injured. This season, he has missed 11 games due to his injury when he started the competition.

He suffered a hamstring muscle tear in the match against Liverpool at the opening of the league. What he experienced forced defenders who helped bring the Blues to win the 2021 Champions League to be out for more than two months.

After recovering from injury, Reece returned to action. However, he was rarely taken down and only played seven times before returning to injury.
