Failed In The Champions League, Pioli: Milan Will Do Everything To Hold The Europa League

JAKARTA - AC Milan failed to continue their steps in the 2023/2024 Champions League after finishing third in Group F.

This situation made them thrown into the Europa League which the coach, Stefano Pioli, was looking at ambitiously.

AC Milan actually won against Newcastle United on the sixth matchday of Group F of the 2023/2024 Champion League. In the match at St James Park Stadium, Thursday, December 14, 2023, early morning WIB, the Rossoneri won 2-1.

However, that result was not enough to bring Milan through to the last 16 of the Champions League. Theo Hernandez and colleagues can only finish under the safe zone. This situation makes mixed feelings for the coach.

"Comply with this feeling. Of course being knocked out of the Champions League is disappointing. Especially given how good we did it last season," Stefano Pioli told Football Italia, Thursday, December 14, 2023.

If they look at Milan's journey last season, they did manage to advance to the Champions League until the semifinals. However, this year they were stopped in the preliminary round.
