Bayern Munich will never recruit players like Jadon Sancho. There is a non-technical reason that makes Sancho not Bayern's choice.

Sancho turns out to have problems with character and attitude. Not only at Manchester United, but he actually had problems with his behavior while still playing at Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern legend Mario Basler revealed Bayern will not recruit players who have inappropriate characters like Sancho.

Basler admits that Sancho is a good player, even his level is a top. Only, he hit his personality.

"Bayern is very strict. When the club recruits a player, his personality is also judged whether it matches the club or not," said Basler.

"Sancho is certainly a good player. But Bayern will never recruit him. The reason is, he is not one of the players with the club's desired personality," said the former midfielder who played at Bayern from 1996 to 1999.

Basler was not surprised that Sancho made a fuss with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. His character and actions made the 23-year-old winger eliminated from the Red Devils squad.

Sancho and Manchester United manager have not gotten along since September when he was not played against Arsenal. Sancho, who felt blamed, then revealed his ideas on social media.

Starting to call Ten Hag a liar and himself always a scapegoat. He also admitted that he was in the best condition and ready to be fielded against Arsenal.

His attitude made Ten Hag impose sanctions that were not included in the squad. In the aftermath, Sancho is no longer played if he doesn't apologize.

Only he insisted on refusing to apologize for feeling innocent. The suggestion of a club partner did not work so he only trained with the academy team.

Sancho is also not allowed to enter the first team restaurant. At MU's training base in Carrington, he finally ate at the restaurant with academy players. Ten Hag's move to impose sanctions on Sancho also received support from the club.

In response to this, Basler assessed that Sancho was indeed a trouble maker. Even in Dortmund, he is also more often a problem.

"Even in Dortmund, Sancho has become a trouble maker. His behavior is indeed a problem. He has to change," said Basler, who had faced MU in the 1999 Champions League final classic duel.

Basler who scored in the early minutes of the match through a free kick. But MU, dramatically turned things around just two minutes before dispersal to win 2-1.

During these three seasons in Bayern, he brought a team to win the German Bundesliga twice and once the DFB-Pocal or the German Cup. In the German national team, Basler brought Die Mannshchaft to win the 1996 European Cup.
