Alvi Wijaya And Yohanes Saut Create All Indonesian Finals, Coach Harry Hartono Praises Consistency

JAKARTA - The Indonesian men's singles badminton coach, Harry Hartono, praised the consistency of the game shown by Alvi Wijaya Chairullah and Yohanes Saut Marcellyno at the 2023 Guwahati Masters. Both managed to reach the All IndonesiaM Final Sunday, December 10 after going through tough matches.

Harry stated that Alvi and Saut's performances were very consistent, calm, and brave, even though they were faced with tough opponents. Both managed to go through a tight match and finally met in the All Indonesia final on Sunday.

"Believe yourself and focus and communicate with athletes, I think the key is. Every day we always take the time to communicate with athletes to discuss the preparation of tomorrow's game. So that the athlete's mind is always directed," said Harry regarding the key factors for the success of his athletes.

Harry considered that Alvi and Saut had a growing game, especially from a mental perspective. Good communication between coaches and athletes plays a role in determining strategies in the field.

In addition to praising athletes' performances, Harry also thanked the support team, including physiotherapy, masseur, and physical trainers, who always helped maintain athletes' fitness while in Guwahati.

Even though Alvi and Saut have shown very good and consistent performance, Harry realizes that they are still facing difficulties in maintaining focus and calm during the final points. However, Harry hopes that both of them can perform optimally in the final match and maximize their abilities.

In the final round, Harry gave full confidence to Alvi and Saut to choose the best strategy. The coach only highlighted his second performance in the previous rounds and hoped that they could play with passion and maximum in the final match.
