League Results 1: Play At Home, Arema FC Wins Three Points After Gasak Persis Solo 3-1

Arema FC won three winning points after defeating Persis Solo 3-1 in the 22nd week of Liga 1 Indonesia 2023/2024 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Regency, Bali, Saturday night.

The home team's two goals came thanks to a penalty kick by Dedik Setiawan and Gilbert Alvarez, and another goal came from Charles Almeida's feet.

Meanwhile, Persis Solo's only goal was contributed by Ramadhan Sananta.

At the beginning of the first half which started at 20.00 WITA, Persis Solo's visitors controlled the game escorted by referee Thoriq M Alkatiri.

The squad's appearance nicknamed Laskar Sambernyawa spread several threatening shots into the host's goal, Arema FC.

Among these brilliant goals were created by Sutanto Tan and Ramadhan.

Even so, the home team with the nickname Singo Edan took the lead 2-0 after being awarded a penalty because the referee successively assessed that Persis Solo players had committed a violation that led to a yellow card.

Dedik's penalty kick successfully broke into Persis' goal in the 9th minute and the second penalty goal was created through Arema's new player, Alvarez in the 14th minute.

The beautiful goal was created after the 99 striker got a pass from his friend, David Gonzales Gomes.

Until both teams took a break in the dressing room, the first half scoreboard gave Arema FC the lead, 2-1.

Entering the second half, the two teams attacked each other and Persis Solo spread threats through a number of dangerous kicks against Arema.

The visitors had a number of goal opportunities taking advantage of the reflection balls when there was chaos in front of Arema's goal.

However, Arema's goalkeeper, Julian, who is 181 cm tall, swiftly caught and parried the ball so as not to nest in the cage.

Even though they have many goal opportunities, Persis Solo has not optimally increased the score.

Near the last minute, the referee gave a red card to Persis Solo player, Jaimerson Da Silva for a foul so the visitors captain was forced off the pitch.

The referee then awarded Arema a penalty kick but the ball was scored by the Persis goalkeeper, Muhamad Riyandi.

Unfortunately, the reflection of the ball became the momentum of the third goal thanks to Charles' sharp strike in extra time.

Arema FC closed match week 22 to win against Persis Solo with a score of 3-1.
