Luciano Spalletti Receives The Title Of Honorary Citizen Of Napoli City

JAKARTA - The former Napoli coach, Luciano Spalletti, officially became an honorary citizen of Napoli City on Thursday, December 7, 2023, local time, thanks to his success in winning the title with the Partenopei during the 2022/2023 season.

Napoli under Spalletti won the Serie A title with a club record, which is a collection of 90 points. They finished with a 16-point lead over second-placed Lazio.

It was Napoli's first Serie A title in 30 years since it last grabbed him in the 1989/1990 season in the Diego Maradona era.

In recognition of his achievements, Spalletti has been granted the title of honorary citizenship and attended the ceremony in Naples with Napoli President Aurelio De Rukis.

Initially, there were doubts that Spalletti and De Badminton would attend given the rift between them at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

The first tournament to be a Spalletti test is Euro 2024. Italy is in the hell group, Group B, with Spain, Croatia, and Albania.
