Guwahati Masters 2023: 8 Indonesian Representatives To Quarter Finals

JAKARTA A total of eight Indonesian representatives managed to secure tickets to the quarter-finals of the Guwahati Masters 2023.

The men's singles sector is the largest of the eight representatives. This sector has three representatives who maintain Indonesia's hopes.

One of the men's singles who escaped was Alwi Farhan. This 18-year-old badminton player extended his journey after stopping the host's singles, Abhishek Saini.

Two other representatives from the men's arrears who also escaped were Yohanes Saut Marcellyno and Alvi Wijaya Chairullah. Yohanes beat Ayush Shetty, while Alvi repatriated Verma.

Meanwhile, the next five tickets were obtained from women's doubles, mixed doubles, and men's doubles.

Women's and mixed doubles each have two representatives, namely Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Amri Syahnawi/Winny Oktavina Kandow.

Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Alllessya Rose and Jesita Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum became representatives of the women's doubles sector.

Meanwhile, tickets to qualify in the men's doubles sector were secured by Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Muhammad Rayhan Nur Fadillah. The pair qualified after defeating Malaysia's representative, Lau Yi Sheng/Lee Yi Bo.

In the quarter-finals, December 8, 2023, they will meet Hariharan Amsakarunan/Ruban Kumar Rethinasabapathi.
