Tottenham Hotspur Halangi Manchester City Chasing Arsenal

JAKARTA - Manchester City failed to catch Arsenal. Tottenham Hotspur blocked Man City and invited him to a 3-3 draw in the English Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium, Sunday, December 3 evening WIB.

Man City actually got a bad fixture. In the last three matches in domestic competitions, the reigning champion had to play three members of the 'big six'.

Starting from the match against Chelsea, then Liverpool and now Tottenham. The result? All ended in a draw. After being detained by Chelsea 3-3, Man Ciy drew 1-1 against Liverpool.

Finally, they failed to win after being matched by Tottenham. The goal of winger Dejan Kulusevski towards the end of the match made Man City only get one point in that match.

A disappointing result because the Cityzens played at home. Interestingly, Totteham has always been a man-city obstacle. Of the last five matches, Man City has only been able to beat his rival once.

Pep Guardiola's team was forced to postpone their desire to pursue Arsenal. Never mind Arsenal, the position of Man City itself has been taken over by Liverpool who won 4-3 over Fulham.

Now, Man City is stuck in third place with 30 points. One point adrift with Liverpool in second place.

Arsenal sendri are immovable at the top of the standings. A 2-1 win over Wolvehampton Wanderers put the Gunners at 33.

The Man City match against his guest, Tottenham, was indeed exciting. Tottenham was able to make it difficult for the hosts after winning first through captain Son Heung-min when the game had only been running for six minutes.

But Tottenham's advantage did not last long. Only three minutes later did Son score an own goal after failing to throw the cross which actually poured into the net himself.

Man City then turned 2-1 ahead after midfielder Phil Foden scored in the 31st minute. Man City pu closed the first half with the lead.

When entering the second half, Tottenham immediately moved quickly to equalize the score.

This time, the player from Agentina Giovani Lo Celso who managed to change the score to 2-2. Son made his mistake by making an assist for Lo Celso in 69 minutes. Man City looks set to win the game after Jack Grealish put the team back ahead. He scored in 81 minutes.

However, the Man City players seem to have difficulty maintaining their lead. Because their goal is always conceded.

Disaster occurred in the last minute when Kulusevski successfully found Ederson's goal and the score changed to 3-3. There were no more goals and Man City failed to win against Tottenham.
