Radja Nainggolan Joins Bhayangkara FC, Chairman Of PSSI Appreciates

JAKARTA - Bhayangkara FC officially brought in Radja Nainggolan to navigate the remainder of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 season.

The choice was born after Radja also turned out to be attracted to play in Liga 1.

So far, Bhayangkara through Sumardji's Chief Operating Officer (COO) confirmed that it had attracted Radja Nainggolan.

"Yes, that's right (Radja joins Bhayangkara). (The negotiations are running) When he is in Indonesia," said Sumardji.

Sumardji explained that the player of Indonesian descent will be contracted for the remainder of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 season with the option of an extension at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Radja Nainggolan had his reasons for accepting The Guardian's offer.

He assessed that the implementation of Liga 1 experienced positive and more professional developments.

The joining of the former Belgian national team player was positively welcomed by the Chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohir.

"I appreciate Radja Nainggolan's decision. His presence in Liga 1 certainly makes this league even better."

"As I have repeatedly emphasized that we must make League 1 the best League in Southeast Asia which is managed professionally."

"There should be no match fixing and no less important, all spectators and supporters must return home safely," said Erick Thohir.

Bhayangkara FC and Radja Nainggolan negotiations occurred when the former AS Roma player became ambassadors for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 in Indonesia.
