Arya Sinulingga Reports Back To Nazaruddin Dek Gam To The Police

JAKARTA - The conflict between President Sada United who is also a member of the PSSI Executive Committee, Arya Sinulingga, and Persiraja Banda Aceh President, Nazaruddin Dek Gam, has extended.

The feud began with Arya's scolding Dek Gam in the stands of the Baharoeddin Siregar Stadium on November 25, 2023, during the North Sumatra Sada vs Persiraja match in Liga 2 2023/2024.

Arya spoke loudly to question the presence of Dek Gam. You see, the President of Persiraja was sentenced by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee to be banned from participating in matches five times, counted by trial decisions on October 5, 2023.

In fact, the sentence against Dek Gam was completed on November 18 or during Persiraja against PSMS. This means that the arrival of President Persiraja against Sada United is fine because the sentence has been completed.

However, Arya's anger actually questioned the previous matches where Dek Gam was also present at the stadium while still serving his sentence.

However, the point of the problem now lies Arya's behavior scolding Dek Gam in the stands. This problem has even been brought to the realm of law.

Some time ago, the Persiraja President officially reported Arya Sinulingga to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police regarding defamation and slanderous speech.

Arya responded to the report. The exco PSSI reported back to the North Sumatra Police Dek Gam for the slander that accused him of insulting the Acehnese ethnicity.

Arya considered the slander very heinous and had the potential to divide. He was represented by his team of legal advisors who are members of Tommy Sinulingga & Associates on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, telling reporters that his party had pocketed a number of evidences.

"We have reported the alleged spread of fake news and SARA as intended in Article 14 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of the ITE Law to the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, Wednesday (11/29/2023) yesterday, it was based on the news in the media because the accusations against my client, Ir. Arya Mahendra Sinulingga, there was an insult to the Acehnese tribe."

"That the information conveyed by Nazaruddin Dek Gam in the police report was also mentioned in the daily news of print and electronic media, including Detiksumut, Era.id, Tribunmedan, Cnindonesia, Inews, Kliksumut, Kumparan.com, and many more," said Tommy Sinulingga to reporters on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Tommy explained that Nazaruddin Dek Gam had spread narratives on a number of media and social media accounts, namely via Instagram @nazaruddin_dekgam.

"This leads to opinions as if using regional languages in the narrative did indeed insult and accuse them. In fact, in fact, my client did not say any alleged sentences or "insult the ethnicity of Aceh" and in fact, my client did not accuse Nazaruddin Dek Gam of organizing the referee in the match (match fixing).

"However, Mr. Ir. Arya Mahendra Sinulingga only asked and reprimanded Nazaruddin Dek Gam who was in his sentence not to attend five matches, but did not serve his sentence for several previous matches in accordance with the verdict at the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Disciplinary Committee (Komdis) session on Wednesday, October 4, 2023," said Tommy.

Based on a number of evidences and on the basis of slander, it has spread to the public through massive news, Arya feels that his reputation and dignity have been harmed.

"The spread of this false information has created public opinion regarding the dignity and good name of my client, resulting in material and immaterial losses as well as defamation of good names as evidenced by the many comments on social media that attacked my client. Some media in Aceh also made the news tilt towards my client."

"This is what proves the accusation. He should have thought that it could cause trouble in the community, which is done through electronic information facilities and/or electronic documents," he said.

Arya Sinulingga's police report to the North Sumatra Police SPKT is in accordance with the Report Receipt Certificate Number: STTLP/B/1434/XI/2023/SPKT/POLDA NORTH SUMATRA dated November 29, 2023 with the alleged spread of fake news and SARA as intended in Article 14 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of the ITE Law.

"Why did we report to the North Sumatra Police because the legal incident was discovered by the client when my client was in North Sumatra. What's more, the beginning of this problem is also in North Sumatra," he said.

For information, in the aftermath of the PSSI Komdis's sentence, Dek Gam was not allowed to attend Persiraja's match against PSDS (14/10/2023), Semen Padang (21/10/2023), PSPS (6/11/2023), Sriwijaya FC (13/11/2023), and PSMS (18/11/2023).
