Alcaraz Ready To Use Djokovic's Dream Of Winning 4 Grand Slams In 2024

JAKARTA Tennis player from Spain, Carlos Alcaraz, will try to thwart Novak Djokovic's ambition to win all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2024.

Djokovic currently leads the list of the most successful players in the Grand Slam event with 24 titles. He has the potential to add to his collection next year.

Alcaraz admits Djokovic's chances of winning four Grand Slam tournaments next year are huge.

However, he believes the Serbian player did not win everything easily.

"He (Novak Djokovic) shows that he is more than ready to win the fourth Grand Slam in 2024," Alcaraz was quoted as saying by Tennis Up To Date.

"However, I am here trying to stop (the opportunity). Me and other great players who qualify for the move (to play at Grand Slam) will beat him," he said.

This year Alcaraz and Djokovic clashed four times. Their most memorable meeting was in the Wimbledon final which led to Alcaraz's victory.

Despite failing at Wimbledon, Djokovic won three other Grand Slams, namely the Australian Open, Roland Garros, and the US Open.

The three additional titles made him the men's singles with the most title collections in history. He passed his Spanish rival, Rafael Nadal, who is currently collecting 22 titles.

Last week, Djokovic said he wanted to be more successful next year. He wants to win the Golden Slam aka the fourth Grand Slam and gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"Yes, I can win four titles (Grand Slam) and Olympic gold medals. I always have the highest ambitions and goals. It won't be different for next year," he said.
