Feyenoord vs Atletico Preview: Chance to Lock Tickets

JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid will visit Feyenoord Stadium to play the fifth matchday in Group E of the 2023/2024 Champions League on Wednesday, 29 November 2023, early morning WIB.

Both teams have a mission to get perfect points. For Atletico, three points can lock their ticket to the last 16.

However, if Diego Simeone's men fail, their journey will be difficult. The thing is, they have to meet Lazio in the last group match.

"The most important thing is to qualify for the last 16. Of course we want to be in first place in the group. However, we will face a tough match in the Netherlands. We have to try to show maximum performance," said Antoine Griezmann.

Meanwhile, the hosts really need three points to maintain their hopes of reaching the knockout phase. At least, the victory against the Rojiblancos made it easier for them to overtake Lazio.

Feyenoord just needs to meet the caretaker Celtics who on paper are easy to beat.
