Parker Jagokan At KO Wilder As The Fourth Victim Of This Year

JAKARTA Former WBO belt-holding heavyweight king Joseph Parker is considered to be taking the fourth victim this year by beating Knock out (KO) Deontay Wilder.

Parker and Wilder are scheduled for a duel on December 23 in Saudi Arabia. The two fighters were included in the card featuring the main party Anthony Joshua versus Otto Wallin.

Parker promoter David aired, saying that Wilder can't deny he has earned a reputation as one of the most destructive boxers in the top division. However, he will KO in Parker's hands.

"Every heavyweight can beat a heavyweight boxer. Joseph has more than 20 KOs on his resume. Wilder has a hard blow, one of the biggest in history, but Joseph has several advantages. He's a better boxer, he's faster. That's going to denounce anyone."

"Joseph is a world champion, so is Wilder. Wilder may have a hard blow, but beyond that, he hasn't grown as well as Joseph. This is a battle that Joseph Parker can win," he added.

The duel against Wilder will be Parker's fourth fight this year. In the previous three duels, the boxer from New Zealand always came out victorious.

The latest victory was to hit KO Simon Kean last month. Prior to that, Parker was recorded as beating Jack fari in January and Faiga Opelu in May.

Badminton says KO's win over Simon proves that Parker is a serious threat to Wilder.

"He showed that he was explosive and had great strength. Simon Kean was a big person and Joseph knocked him down with an uppercut," he said.

"It was his third win of this calendar year and Deontay Wilder will be his fourth. We love Joseph's momentum towards this great opportunity in Saudi Arabia," he added.

Parker is listed holding the WBO heavyweight belt between 2016 and 2018. His government as the belt holder then collapsed after losing points against Anthony Joshua in March 2018 at Cardiff.
