FIFA U-17 World Cup Participants Profile: Mexico, Wants To Beat The World

JAKARTA - At the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 Indonesia, Mexico came with the status of ruler of CONCACAF U-17 2023. This is Mexico's 15th U-17 appearance at the U-17 World Cup.

The draw put Mexico in Group F along with Germany, Venezuela and New Zealand. Holding a two-time title, Mexico U-17 is trying to make a hat-trick at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia.

At the previous event, 2019 in Brazil, the Sombrero team only won the runners-up position. They were defeated by Brazil in the top match which took place dramatically. Now in Indonesia, Mexico is ready to make history with its impressive capital.

Mexico's first step at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 Indonesia began on November 12 by hosting Germany at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung. Then on November 15, they host Venezuela in the same place as the kickoff schedule at 16.00 WIB.

The last group stage match was against New Zealand at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, kickoff at 16.00 WIB.

Mexico's capital at the 2023 Indonesian U-17 World Cup is indeed quite impressive by becoming a champion at CONCACAF U-17 2023. The title was won in February after defeating the United States which became the owner of its 18th appearance at the U-17 World Cup.

Mexico advanced to the top four CONCACAF U-17 to hold tickets to Indonesia, on a long journey. The King OF CONCACAF successfully passed the group stage and defeated Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Panama in the knockout stages.

At the top of Mexico beat the United States 3-1 in an interesting match.

Under Raul Chabrand's tutelage, a former defender who spent his professional football career in his country. Chabrand plays at Monterrey, Irapuato, Cobras, and Coatzacoalcos.

After retiring as a player, Chabrand took on the first coaching role in 2007. Starting his career as a coach on the U-20 team Monterrey. Alvarez played in seven games Mexico went through in CONCACAF U-17 scoring two goals and providing three assists. Alvarez's leadership of checking the ball will be shown during the 2023 Indonesia U-17 World Cup.
