Arkhan Kaka Explains The Condition Of The U-17 National Team Which Is Getting Closer To Appearing In The 2023 U-17 World Cup

JAKARTA - Indonesian U-17 national team striker Arkhan Kaka revealed the condition of the team ahead of the inaugural match at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

This Milky Way squad is part of Group A and will play its first match against Ecuador. The match will be held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Surabaya on Friday, November 10.

Before that match, the U-17 national team had held a training camp in Germany for a month. They then returned to the country and immediately left for Surabaya on November 3 to prepare for their appearance.

Now the Bima Sakti team is continuing to undergo final preparations in Surabaya ahead of the match. Arkhan Kaka said the U-17 national team was excited to fight Ecuador.

"Alhamdulillah, today's training went well. We restore the condition of the players by returning physically, the training went smoothly and enthusiastically," said Arkhan Kaka, quoted from PSSI's official website on Tuesday, November 7.

"My condition and the players are all good and healthy, there are no injuries, nothing, and the training returned to our physical condition, fitness," said Arkhan.

The 16-year-old then hopes that Indonesia will get the best results against Ecuador in his U-17 World Cup debut.

"The team conditions are getting more and more compact, everyone supports each other and strengthens each other for later. And we are optimistic that the best results will be given later," he explained.

In training in Surabaya, Garuda Asia began to get tactical exercises against Colombia accompanied by physical returns.

"Today we practice passing, possession games, and tactics a little bit to prepare against Ecuador, as well as restore our physical condition and fitness so that the inaugural match becomes fit," he explained.

Arkhan also praised the facilities at the 2023 U-17 World Cup, including Field A at the Bung Tomo Gelora Complex.

The field is good, international standards, FIFA standards, we will be easier to practice here because the field is also supportive. This is a spirit for us to face Ecuador in the first match. Hopefully, it will be given convenience and smoothness in the inaugural match," he said.
