Alwi Farhan Ready To Debut Super 300 BWF Level At The Korea Masters 2023

Men's singles badminton player Alwi Farhan will make his debut at the Super 300 BWF/INSTAGRAM level event

JAKARTA The 2023 Korean Masters badminton tournament this week is a special event for Indonesian men's singles badminton player, Alwi Farhan.

The reason is, the tournament is the debut of the 2023 junior world champion in a tournament with a level BWF World Tour Super 300 level.

"It's definitely very excited because this tournament is arguably the level of elite players as well. I want to measure my ability and compete here," Alwi said in a statement received.

The Korea Master will take place at Gwangju Women's University from 7 to 12 November. Alwi is one of several Indonesian representatives who will appear.

Alwi said that he was in good shape for the tournament. The field adaptation also went smoothly after undergoing an arena test on Monday, November 6, 2023 evening WIB.

"My condition is quite fit even though I just arrived in Gwangju today. The field tests are also smooth and normal from all field situations. Winds, lights and shuttlecock characters," explained Alwi.

Alwi is one of seven representatives to appear at the Korea Masters this year. In the men's singles number he was present with Shesar Hiren Rhustavito.

Meanwhile, the women's singles are the three representatives who came down. They are Putri Kusuma Wardani, Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi, Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo.

Furthermore, in the men's doubles there is the pair Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rahmat Hidayat. This will be Kevin's debut with his new partner since separating from Marcus Fernaldi Gideon.

Another Indonesian representative at the 2023 Korea Masters is Adnan Maulana/Nita Violina Marwah. In the first round, this pair met representatives of Chinese Taipei, Wei Chun Wei/Nicole Gonzales Chan.
