JAKARTA - Indonesian taekwondo athlete Ni Kadek Heni won the women's 49kg class gold medal at the 5th Comaxx Asian Open Taekwondo Championship championship which was held in Islamabad-Pakistan 1-5 November 2023.
With the advantages of his technique and agility, Ni Kadek became the best of his rivals before defeating the athlete from Nepal, Anjali Tamang with a score of 2-1 in the tense final.

The gold medal in Pakistan is the third podium for the athlete from Bali this year after previously winning the Bulgaria Open and leaving as runners-up for the 2023 SEA Games at the Phnom Penh.
