Vinicius Says Jude Bellingham Is Real Madrid's New Ronaldo, But Statistics Are Different

JAKARTA - Jude Bellingham stole the show again. He became a star when Real Madrid won a dramatic victory over Barcelona at El Clasico last weekend.

He scored two goals in that game. In fact, one of them was made in the second half extra minutes which gave Los Blancos a win.

After the match, Vinicius junior gave praise to his teammates. He did not hesitate to call Bellingham the new Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Jude Bellingjam is amazing, he always makes differences and fans get used to Cristiano Ronaldo and the other comes for us," said Vinicius.

However, statistics seem to be talking otherwise. The reason is, Bellingham's score is better than Ronaldo, for at least their first 10 matches in La Liga with Real Madrid.

In Ronaldo's first 10 games since joining Madrid from Manchester United, he scored seven goals and one assist. That's Ronaldo for 787 minutes of play.

That means Ronaldo scores on average one goal in 112 minutes.

Bellingham's better achievement in his first 10 matches with Los Blancos since being bought from Borussia Dortmund.

The England player has scored 10 goals and two assists. He did so after playing for 857 minutes. Bellingham averaged one goal in 86 minutes.

He was also more effective at scoring 10 goals in 24 attempted shots. Meanwhile Ronaldo scored seven goals in 60 attempts.

However, this is just the beginning. Bellingham needs to go on a long journey to be as successful as Ronaldo, who has been called a club legend.

Ronaldo arrived at Real Madrid with a world record-breaking after being bought 80 million from Manchester United in 2009. He won many trophies and awards during his Los Blancos uniform.

The player who now defends Al Nassr is Ballon d'or, the Champions League trophy, La Liga Spain, and several other trophies.

Meanwhile, Bellingham was brought in by Madrid from Dortmund with a dowry of 115 million. The 20-year-old is expected to become a club star like Cristiano Ronaldo.
