Lautaro Martinez Wants To Stay At Inter Milan

JAKARTA - Striker Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter Milan. However, he hopes to get a contract extension from Inter soon.

Martinez is a front line pillar who has shown his loyalty. When he stepped in and out of Inter, one of which was Romelu Lukaku, he still had to survive.

Likewise when he was Barcelona's target. Although interested in moving to Barca, Martinez left it entirely to Inter.

The Argentine national team striker finally stayed at Inter because the club did not let him go to Barca.

Martinez's loyalty gave him the honor of being captain to replace goalkeeper Samir Handanovic who left Inter. The 26-year-old player also became an important figure and leader of Simone Inzaghi's troops.

Martinez also showed sharpness as the Nerazzurri's flagship goal machine this season. He has scored 10 goals and made two assists during eight Italian Serie A matches.

That success made his agent Alejandro Camano hope that his client would soon get a contract extension from Inter. Martinez himself also wants to sign a new contract.

"I hope for the same thing. We look forward to getting an agreement with Inter and that could make Lautaro happy," Camano was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

Currently, on an old contract, Martinez receives a salary of 6 million euros or nearly 100 billion rupiahs annually plus bonuses.

Despite bearing the salary armband he received, he still lost to midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu. He becomes the player with the highest salary at Inter, amounting to 6.5 million euros or 107 billion annually.

Martinez brharaop got a new contract that lasted until 2028. In addition, he received a bigger salary than before.
