Maguire Still Training Even Though Manchester United Have Agreed To Release To West Ham, Fans: Should You Travel To London?

JAKARTA - Manchester United have reportedly agreed to release Harry Maguire to West Ham United. After this news emerged, fans were confused.

The reason is, the former team captain is still seen in the Red Devils training session.

Quoted from Express, Thursday, August 10, Maguire was initially tough to accept West Ham's offer. He still wants to fight for a place in the Manchester United core team.

But in the end Maguire changed his mind and was willing to appear as part of the team at London Stadium next season.

Maguire's willingness is also reportedly inseparable from the influence of England coach Gareth Southgate. Previously Southgate had informed Maguire his position with the Three Lions could be threatened if he didn't play regularly on the team.

Lately Maguire has only been the fifth option in the heart of the MU defense. He lost to Leandro Martinez, Raphael, Varane, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof last season.

Maguire is said to still have to agree to personal requirements before official transfers to West Ham can be completed. Despite United salaries reaching 190 thousand per week, the negotiations are not expected to be a problem.

Previously Maguire was also said to have held telephone talks with David Moyes. Maguire's future at United was doubtful this summer after he was removed from captainhood by Erik ten Hag.
