Bima Sakti Calls 34 Players For Early Selection Of The U-17 National Team, Including 6 Descendants

JAKARTA - A total of 34 players received calls to participate in the preparation and selection of the U-17 Indonesian national team in Jakarta, July 9 to August 28. This selection is to select players who will represent the Red and White at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The U-17 national team coach, Bima Sakti said the health test process was the initial selection for the players, Monday, July 10. He emphasized that he would conduct strict selection in choosing players.

"Of course we are very selective in choosing players and looking for players according to the needs of the team. The criteria we are looking for are of course from the quality of these players, individual skills, chemistry with their friends, mental, disciplined, and others," said Bima Sakti.

The U-17 Indonesian national team is prepared to take part in the 2023 U-17 World Cup which will take place in November. Thus, maximum preparation will be the key to Garuda Asia's work in the tournament.

A number of players who were called Bima to take part in the selection included the U-16 national team players who had played in 2022 such as Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge, Arkhan Kaka, and Muhammad Kafiatur.

Bima coaches also summoned six descendants, namely Welber Halim Jardin, Madrid Augusta, Mahesa Eryanto, Staff of Qabiel Horrito, Aaron Liam Suitela, and Aaron Nathan Ang.

The U-17 World Cup is scheduled to take place in Indonesia from November 10 to December 2.
