Making Salfok, FIFA Uploads Aldi Taher's Song About Lionel Messi

JAKARTA - The World Football Federation (FIFA) does not want to miss joining the news that Lionel Messi is not present at the FIFA matchday in Indonesia, June 19. The funny thing is, FIFA's involvement is shown through their social media accounts.

Through an upload on Instagram, Wednesday, June 14, FIFA uploaded a video of Lionel Messi in action with the Argentine national team. Interestingly, the background of the song used for the video belongs to an Indonesian artist, Aldi Taher.

Recently, Aldi Taher has indeed stolen the attention of Indonesian netizens because he often creates songs that are in accordance with the situation that is being discussed a lot. Most recently, he even made a song containing an invitation for Lionel Messi to come to Indonesia.

The song was composed by Aldi Taher because he saw the high enthusiasm of football lovers who wanted to watch the national vs Argentina match on FIFA Matchday to watch Messi. But recently it was discovered that Messi chose to miss out.

In his song Aldi Taher reveals how much football fans want to see Lionel Messi live on the grid.

"Why don't you come to Indonesia Mr. Messi. Why? Please come to Indonesia, Man. We wait for you Bro. We love you..Why don't you come to Indonesia? Why don't you come... we wait.." that's the lyrics sung in the song Aldi Taher.

Accompanimenting the upload, the FIFA World Cup wrote a statement written in Indonesian: "Our brother, Leo Messi," wrote the official account.

The FIFA upload was warmly welcomed by netizens, where the majority admitted that they were surprised because FIFA could upload the song. On the other hand, many netizens joked and asked Messi to be grateful that Aldi Taher had composed a song.

Messi is currently in China in preparation for Australia on FIFA Matchday. The Argentine vs Australian duel will take place on Thursday 15 June. Meanwhile, the Indonesia vs Argentina match will be held on Monday 19 June.
