Menpora Dito Ariotedjo's Trace Record In The Sports Field

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) on Monday, April 3.

Previously, the position was held by Zainudin Amali. However, after serving as Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of PSSI, Amali chose to leave his position.

The vacant position left by Zainudin was immediately taken over by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy, who served as the strict executor (Plt) of the Menpora.

Dito Ariotedjo who is a socio-political activist in Indonesia. Golkar Party cadre born in Jakarta, September 25, 1990 is the son of Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo and Art Laksmigati Ariotedjo.

Although relatively young, his work in politics can be taken into account, Dito now serves as Chairman of the DPP Indonesian Renewal Youth Forces (AMPI), a youth organization under the Golkar party.

Since April 2022, Dito has also been included in the ranks of the expert team of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia.

At the age of only 32 years, Dito is also pursuing the business world. He is an entrepreneur who is also working with Raffi Ahmad and CEO of Prestige Motor to form Rans Sport in 2021.

Will hold the status of Menpora, flight hours and Dito experience in the field of sports are things that should be highlighted.

Although better known as a politician, in fact Dito is also often directly involved as an important figure in sporting events in the country.

Dito was noted to have been a Chef de Mission of the Indonesian contingent for the 2018 Argentine Youth Olympic. Dito has also been an administrator of the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Bicycle Sports Association (ISSI).

Currently, Dito Ariotedjo even serves as Chairman of Rans Nusantara FC who competes in Liga 1 2022/2023. He is also part of Rans PIK Basketball in the Indonesia Basketball League (IBL).
