Kim Kardashian's 'Curse' Made PSG First Lose At Home In The Last 715 Days

JAKARTA – The defeat of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against Rennes in the continuation of the French Ligue 1 2022/2023 is considered a curse because of the presence of model Kim Kardashian who watched directly at the stadium.

The French giants suffered their fourth defeat of the season after giving up 0-2 at home to Rennes in public at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris France, Sunday, March 19 evening Western Indonesia Time.

During that match, Kim was seen in the stands holding Neymar's jersey. In addition, she was also caught on camera on the sidelines before the duel began.

The presence of the 42-year-old celebrity was then considered to have only brought bad luck to Les Parisiens, who had to lose for the first time at home in a league match after 715 days unbeaten there.

Before bringing bad luck to France, Kim was first seen watching Arsenal live against Sporting Lisbon in the second leg of the last 16 of the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium last week.

She also watched The Gunners being eliminated from the second caste of the European club competition after losing on penalties to the Portuguese giants.

After the match, some Arsenal fans joked that Kim should not have to return to the Emirates because she only brought bad luck.

"Kim is cursed for every game she watches when the home team loses," wrote one Twitter user, quoted by The Sun.

"Kim Kardashian is the bane of football. Arsenal lost to Sporting and now PSG lost to Rennes," tweeted another.

"Kim Kardashian's curse continues, pray for PSG," said another.

In this match, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe appeared as starters. However, both of them were still unable to inspire PSG to win.

Despite losing points in front of their own supporters, PSG has not faltered from the top of the standings.

Christophe Galtier's squad is currently still in the top position with a collection of 66 points or seven points ahead of Marseille in second place.
