Chant Pantun, Menpora Officially Open PPSI KLB

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali officially opened the PSSI Extraordinary Congress (KLB) which was held in Shangri-La, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 15 morning.

When giving a speech, Zainudin Amali conveyed the rhyme as the opening act. The rhyme was welcomed by the participants.

Playing the ball in a new time, the ball was shot away soaring. After being elected a new leader, let's support it," said Zainudin Amali with a laugh.

After conveying the rhyme, the Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his hope that this agenda could run smoothly and there would be no obstacles.

As is known, the PSSI 2023 KLB will take place to determine the new management of PSSI. The central PSSI management for the 2023-2027 period will consist of 1 General Chair, 2 Deputy General Chairs and 12 members of the Executive Committee (Exco).

Furthermore, Menpora Amali appreciated Mochamad Iriawan's performance during his tenure as Chairman of PSSI. The reason is, during his tenure, Iriawan Indonesia managed to fix his ranking in the FIFA rankings.

"Mr. Iriawan is extraordinary, thank you. The representatives, exco, and others. Please note that Indonesia's ranking when he (Mochamad Iriawan) led was 173. Today he ended his position, the Indonesian national team was ranked 151. We must appreciate this," he added.

Although the opening had been delayed for 30 minutes, the agenda went smoothly. The Menpora officially opened the PSSI 2023 KLB event at around 10.32 WIB which was symbolically marked by hitting a gong.

In the 2023 PSSI KLB there are four candidates for PSSI 2023/2027. The four names are Erick Thohir, La Nyalla Mattalitti, Doni Setiabudi, and Arief Putra Wicaksono.

In fact, there are five candidates, but Fary Djemi Francis surprisingly withdrew from the D-1 ahead of the PSSI 2023 KLB. Meanwhile, there were 15 waketums, one of which was Menpora Amali and also 54 exco PSSI candidates.
