Drake Wins Bet In The Super Bowl Event, Fantastic Amount!

JAKARTA - Rapper, Drake, actually doesn't really have a perfect history when it comes to betting in the world of sports. However, that hasn't stopped him from paying nearly £1 million to bet on the 2023 Super Bowl.

Unlike usual, this time he won the bet. Drake favored the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl this year by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles.

The result? The Chiefs won 38-35 over the Eagles at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Sunday, February 12, local time. Reportedly, the public figure from Canada earned more than 3.7 million pounds, or around IDR 67.8 billion.

The Eagles are not really the favorites to win their second Super Bowl crown. So naturally, Drake heavily backed the Chiefs to win their third title.

Before the match started, he uploaded his bet slip via Instagram. It can be seen that the rapper has given up 800 thousand pounds (equivalent to IDR 14.6 billion) with 578 thousand (worth IDR 10.6 billion) of that amount for the Chiefs' victory.

Two separate bets of over 41K saw him relying on Patrick Mahomes or Juju Smith-Schuster to score the Chiefs' first touchdown.

The other has been placed on the Chiefs who won both halves, by nearly £50,000.

"My psychotic bet for Sunday is in the @stake. Please don't analyze the logic behind this bet, there is none," he wrote on his Instagram account.

Previously, Drake was not as lucky as now. He lost £1.4 million after losing a bet in the UFC event. He favored Israel Adesanya to beat Alex Pereira and the opposite happened.

Then he lost 355 thousand pounds, also in the UFC event, because Kamaru Usman lost to Leon Edwards and Jose Aldo defeated Merab Dvalishvili.
