Cristiano Ronaldo's Signed Jersey is Being Auctioned For Earthquake Victims in Turkey, Now It has Been Offered For IDR 241 Billion

JAKARTA - The earthquake in Turkey which claimed many victims has sparked concern from many parties. Sympathy and empathy kept coming from all walks of life, including football players.

A number of stars flocked to provide assistance. Recently, Atalanta player Merih Demiral auctioned off a jersey signed by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. He has also asked Ronaldo's permission to auction off the costume.

The Turkish international is known to be close to the Al Nassr player because he played together at Juventus.

He said on Twitter, "I just spoke to @Cristiano. He said he was very saddened by what's happening in Turkey."

Apart from Ronaldo's jersey, Demiral also auctioned off Paulo Dybala's and Leonardo Bonucci's shirts. For the last name, he also admitted that he had established communication.

"I spoke to @bonucci_leo19. He expressed his sadness. He also said he would donate a signed Juventus shirt," he wrote.

Currently, Ronaldo's jersey has been offered up to 14.862 euros, or around IDR 241 billion.

The earthquake in Turkey has claimed 10 thousand victims. One of them is a former Chelsea player, Christian Atsu, who was declared missing but has been found alive.

Unfortunately, the Yeni Malatyaspor goalkeeper, Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan, has reportedly died.
