Valentino Rossi's Predictions For The 2023 Season: 2 VR46 Riders Will Shine

JAKARTA - MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi predicts that his two academy racers, Mooney VR46 will shine next season. The two drivers in question are Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi.

Quoted from Crash, the reason Rossi dares to predict the careers of his two drivers is because of the performance they have shown this year. The Doctor said the performance of Marini and Bezzecchi was able to encourage the team to carve a slick record.

Throughout the 2022 season, Luca Marini has never won the podium, but his performances are quite consistent. The 25-year-old rider closed the season in 12th position with a collection of 120 points.

While Bezzecchi has a more slick achievement. He has tasted the podium after finishing in second place at the 2022 Dutch MotoGP. In addition, he also won the Rookie of the Year award.

With the good records that the two riders have in the 2022 season, Rossi is very confident that Marini and Bezzecchi will be even stronger in MotoGP 2023 and that year could be a proving ground for the Mooney VR46 team.

"In my opinion next year they will be very strong. Marco (Bezzecchi) and Luca (Marini) both have great potential", said Valentino Rossi.

"We need to understand the bike we will have in 2023, we have to try it. This year we had fun, but we are ready for next season."

The man who was born in Tavullia wants to score more other accomplished racers after successfully spawning Francesco Bagnaia who won the world title this season.

“I want to further raise the level of VR46 Academy from many points of view. But for now, we have decided to focus on our historic group because we have so many very strong riders. We want to give the best for them", concluded Rossi.
