Calls PSSI KLB Urges Not The First Time, Dali Tahir: Ali Sadikin Couped, Nurdin Halid Demolished For 11 Months

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PSSI Statute Formulation Team, Dali Tahir, reminded that this is not the first time that the urge to hold an extraordinary congress (KLB) has been faced by the Indonesian football federation, PSSI, as a result of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy.

"This model of pressure is not the first time. Ali Sadikin was in a coup. Then, Nurdin Halid (NH) was demonstrated for 11 months, 2010-2011. The demonstration was clearly coordinated," said Dali Tahir, quoted from Antara. , Monday.

In fact, according to the owner's full name, Gelora Surya Dharma Tahir, during the Nurdin Halid era there was a rival PSSI as a result of NH's uncertainty as the General Chair of PSSI at that time to hold a KLB.

This was conveyed by the former member of the FIFA Executive Committee in response to the insistence on holding a KLB which was finally approved by PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan.

But unfortunately, said Dali Tahir, the PSSI KLB in the Nurdin Halid era did not in fact change the Indonesian football federation for the better.

"Sadly, PSSI can't even get up. I don't want to accuse this time of being the same as 2010-2011. But, as a parent who has been involved in domestic and foreign football for 40 years, just reminds PSSI that they have experienced something like that," he said.

"If you use the old adage 'A donkey doesn't fall in the same hole twice'. It means, no matter how stupid people are, they will not repeat their previous mistakes," said Dali Tahir.

Previously, Iriawan as the General Chair of PSSI ensured readiness to carry out KLB even though officially only two clubs had written letters to PSSI, namely Persis Solo and Persebaya Surabaya.

The decision was taken after the PSSI Exco meeting at the PSSI Office, Jakarta, Friday (28/10), in response to the urging of KLB, one of which was from the Joint Independent Fact Finding Team (TGIPF) for the Kanjuruhan Tragedy.

According to Article 34 of the PSSI Statute, five stages are needed to reach KLB, namely, first, 2/3 of the 88 vote owners must agree, and second, a request from Exco.

The KLB must be held within three months of receiving the request, and if PSSI does not also organize an KLB then the member requesting it can hold its own congress as a last resort.

"I don't want a rift to arise at the bottom. I avoid division. In addition, I also don't want the hundreds of thousands of people involved in football to be held hostage," said Iwan Bule, Iriawan's nickname.

The reason Iwan Bule agrees with KLB is none other than to get the League 1 competition back running, because if the competition doesn't run then hundreds of thousands of workers will stop and the circulation of tens of billions of rupiah will also stop.
