Tennis Star Simona Halep Splits Up With Her Rich Husband, Even Though She's Only Been Married For A Year

JAKARTA - Shocking news came from world tennis star, Simona Halep. She is reported to have divorced her billionaire husband, Toni Iuruc.

This divorce occurred after they built a household within the last year.

The 30-year-old married Iuruc in September 2021. They married after three years of dating.

Iuruc then spoke about his farewell to the player who has won the Wimbledon and French Open trophies.

Speaking to Turkish media Fanatic, the Romanian businessman said, "We decided together with Simona to break up."

"Stop insisting, this is my last public appearance. The rest will be handled by lawyers in the most civilized way. Thank you for understanding," continued the 42-year-old man.

Actually, Halep and Iuruc are reported by Fanatic to be holding a wedding party on November 13. They claim 300 people were invited to attend the celebration at Casino Sinaia Romania.

However, before the party was held, the two even agreed to divorce. Halep has reportedly started looking for a lawyer for the divorce proceedings.

According to Hollywoods Magazine, Iuruc is worth £1.72 billion. His wealth comes from six different multinational companies.

In addition, he claims to come from a wealthy family and works in the real estate market with his mother.

This was the end of Iuruc's third marriage and Halep's first marriage.

Halep has reportedly returned to her native Romania following a shock defeat in the first round of the 2022 US Open.
