JAKARTA - PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru plan to hold the Women's League 1 competition in October. A number of clubs will participate in the competition.

Borneo FC is said to be one of the participating clubs. This news strengthened after the club from Kalimantan appointed the manager of the women's team.

The club's management officially appointed Celni Pita Sari to fill the position. Celni is considered worthy because she already has a myriad of clerics when bringing the Indonesian Futsal national team.

In addition, Celni is also a native to the Samarinda area.

Celini herself said she was happy to be given the opportunity to serve the region. This member of the Samarinda City DPRD admitted that in Samarinda there was a lot of potential for women's soccer players.

"But there are no clubs that can give their way of competing in the league yet, so in Borneo Women this is the answer," Celni said on the club's official website.

Regarding the target, Celni does not want to talk about grandiose. He said preparations that were too tight made him not set a high target.

"We are still optimistic that we can compete with other stronger women's clubs," he said.

Celni then committed, the Borneo squad will later be dominated by local East Kalimangan players. Currently, the coaching team is conducting player selection

"We are committed to being dominated by local East Kalimantan because there are many good and potential female soccer players in East Kalimantan, they are not inferior to outside East Kalimantan players. God willing, it will be finished in the near future," explained Celni.
