Menpora Ask For Cross-Sector Synergy As A Youth Parameter

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali hopes that all youth activities must have a grand design and parameters and measurements that can be used as a reference for success or failure.

Because according to him the responsibility for developing, empowering and fostering youth activities is not only the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, but all stakeholders together.

"Presidential Regulation Number 66 of 2017 has also mandated cross-ministerial / institutional coordination to carry out various things about youth activities or activities," said Menpora Zainudin, in a written statement, Tuesday, October 13.

He said the Kemenpora program was in line with what was stated in the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN). Youth become the main actors, become the subject of development itself.

Zainudin said that every policy that is taken, its implementation is in the regions. Currently, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is pushing for the revision of the Law on SKN and the Ministry of Youth and Sports will be included in the revision of the Youth Law and the Scouting Law.

"I really appreciate this activity, because this is an opportunity to talk about youth. The Youth Law No.40 / 2009 has many developments that must be accommodated by this rule," he continued.
