This Female Boxer Challenged Jake Paul For IDR 1.49 Billion, But Was Rejected

JAKARTA - YouTuber who is now a boxer, Jake Paul, rejected an offer to fight the women's boxing world champion, Claressa Shields. In fact, he was promised a fee of US$100,000 or around IDR 1.49 billion. Recently, Shield has been involved in a war of words with Jake Paul on social media. However, when challenged to a face-to-face debate, Jake Paul refused, Shield claims.

"I told him we could argue for $100,000 and whoever wins gets it. But he doesn't want to argue against me," Shields told GiveMeSport.

"I actually saw Jake Paul in person two or three times but he didn't say anything," she continued.

Shields later confirmed that she was not a fan of Jake Paul. She will not run after the star from the United States to take pictures.

In fact, this woman from the United States said Jake Paul should be a comedian.

"I thought he was funny. He should become, like a comedian or something," she said.

This feud arose after Jake Paul spoke nonsense about Shields' defeat in the MMA event against Abigail Montes, last year. Shields called Jake Paul's attitude very annoying.

"He started talking nonsense after I lost an MMA fight. He tried to bring up the name of the girl who beat me," she said.

Shields calls herself the 'Greatest Woman of All Time' (GWOAT). The 27-year-old boxer is the only one in history to hold four major world titles in two heavyweights at the same time.

"He didn't congratulate me on all the achievements in women's boxing. He had no respect for the sport. So I never really liked the guy."
