Ten Hag's Comments On Ronaldo's Behavior In Leaving The Team In Friendly Match Against Rayo Vallecano, Erik Ten Hag: Not Good To See

JAKARTA - Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag is reportedly not impressed by Cristiano Ronaldo's behavior in the friendly match against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, July 31 evening.

Ronaldo was caught leaving Old Trafford first after playing 45 minutes in the first half. He was seen at the exit of the stadium when the match which ended in a 1-1 draw was still running.

A club source said that Ronaldo's decision to leave first made Erik ten Hag unsympathetic. Moreover, he got minutes to play after missing the Red Devils' pre-season tour.

"It's not nice to see to leave early when you've been involved in the squad. It's different if you're standing in the stands and not involved", the source said, quoted by Triball Football, Tuesday.

The video of the player with the initials CR7 leaving the stadium first was crowded on social media and caused a lot of criticism. He seemed to take the time to give autographs to the fans.

Apart from leaving Old Trafford early, Ronaldo was also in the spotlight during the first half. In particular, he seemed to refute the instructions given by the Dutch tactician.

"You expect someone who has played in the game to be in the dressing room. A lot of people were there seeing it and he didn't even get the applause from the fans after the final whistle", the source said.

Ronaldo's future with Manchester United continues to be speculation. He is said to want to leave the Red Devils and join a club that is playing in the European Champions League this season.

Atletico Madrid is now the only team to be linked with the 37-year-old. However, many think that Ronaldo's possibility of going to the Wanda Metropolitano is very small because the team is a former rival when he defended Real Madrid.
