JAKARTA — Beautiful gymnast Olivia Dunne is now a rich man at the young age of 18. His coffers of income began to climb after he went viral on Instagram and TikTok.
Olivia earned most of her sponsorship income after her followers on both platforms increased sharply. He is now earning 831.000 pounds (IDR 14.9 billion) from cooperation with a number of sponsors.
Even though she's already earning a lot of money, Olivia is still trying to juggle her promising career as a college gymnast. The former member of the American national team now competes with Louisiana State University.
What she has received from Instagram and TikTok has made her the top earning young athlete among her peers. However, she insists that gymnastics will remain her priority.
Olivia began to announce collaboration with several brands since last year. That was after the National College Athletic Association relaxed rules that would allow athletes to make more money from their name and image.
In addition to agreeing deals with American Eagle and Forever 21, Dunne also partnered with activewear brand Vuori in September. According to a Forbes report, the deal is worth 'mid six figures'.
"We have some core values in common, and I think it's great how they care about the environment. They are also committed to happiness, and that's very important to me," Olivia said of Vuori, citing the Daily Star.

"Social media has always been something I've always been passionate about, and what I find great about changing the rules is that you can do whatever you like and make money from it," she added.
